Coronavirus disease COVID-19

We are heartbroken to hear about the severity of coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. We are taking necessary precautionary measures in response to the current news by the World Health Organization WHO that has declared COVID-19 as a pandemic. 

Information below is derived from WHO and the Department of Health and Human Services of Vicoria, DHHS. Please take practical precautions to protect yourselves and your loved ones especially the elderly. 

7th April 2020 update

Only our master craftsmen/ craftswomen in Singapore workshops are working currently. Our master craftsmen/ craftswomen at the Melbourne workshop are not operating at full capacity and we are only collating orders on our Wait List. 

We are still taking on projects of Made to Order and Made to Measure. Please fill in this form if you're interested. These projects will be discussed remotely between master craftswomen/ craftsmen and designers, and between designers and clients. 

Wallets are currently still available and ready to be shipped.

What is COVID-19? 

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). Click here to find out more.

How to protect yourself? 

  • Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds. Dry with paper towel or a hand dryer.
  • Try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If a tissue isn’t available, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow. (Do the dap).
  • Isolate yourself at home if you experience any cold or flu like symptoms with adequate supplies.
  • Contact your GP if you require information about COVID-19.
  • Continue healthy habits by engaging in physical exercise, keeping hydrated, getting adequate and consolidated sleep etc.
  • Avoiding wearing a surgical mask if you are not experiencing any symptoms.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser when handwashing facilities are not in sight.

Please note the following:

    • if someone you live with is required to self-isolate, you must also self-isolate for 14 days and will require medical clearance to return to work. 
    • If you have any corona virus related health concerns, you can call the dedicated hotline on 1800 675 398 (24 hours, 7 days) to speak to a health professional.

    Our current Business Operations:

    Our business will continue to operate as normally and practise precautionary steps as recommended by WHO and DHHS. Our operations may be slightly disrupted if any of the following occurs:

    • if any of us is found positive of COVID-19, the personnel will not attend work and may not be able to fulfill his/ her duties. The personnel may work remotely with light duties because rest is of the utmost importance.
    • if any of us shows cold-like symptoms, the personnel will not attend work and may not be able to fulfill his/ her duties. The personnel may work remotely with light duties because rest is of the utmost importance.

    We will also closely monitor the Australian Federal Government and Victorian State Minister further advice and instructions.

    We primarily use Australia Post services. Click here to find out more if there's any service disruptions. 

    • Supply of accessories fittings (buckles, magnets, rings etc) may be disrupted. However, we have enough in stock at this stage.
    • We currently still have some leathers in stock.
    • Our artisans are located both in Melbourne and Singapore. There is no indication that there is disruptions in our workflow to date (28/03/2020).

    28th March 2020 update:

    Australia Post has announced that there may be delays in international deliveries due to the flight restrictions between countries. Please contact us further if you prefer express shipping method for any of your orders.

    Additionally, Australia Post has also announced that some local Post Offices are temporarily closed. Find out more about their domestic updates here.

    As of today until further notice, we will not be conducting any private trunk shows in person. Private consultations are now done remotely online.

    16th March 2020 update:

    At this stage, we do not foresee any disruption to our existing orders and any orders in the near future. 

    It is business as usual with our artisans in Melbourne and in Singapore. 

    We have ceased private showings in person. Remote private viewings of our leather goods may be available upon request.

    We will advise further via e-mail if there is any disruptions relating to your orders.
